BPEC Un-Vented Hot Water

1 day £210.00 + VAT

The BPEC un-vented hot water course allows you to legally install, service or commission domestic hot water systems in the UK. It is a legal requirement of the building regulations that all domestic un-vented hot water systems over 15 litres capacity are maintained by a qualified person. A qualified person is someone who holds this certificate. We also run the LOGIC Un-vented Hot Water Systems course should the person prefer the Bpec qualification.

The certificate is valid for 5 years, after which the holder must attend an approved centre and take an unvented hot water re-assessment course such as LOGIC Unvented Hot Water Systems (Upgrade).

During the course you will cover the following topics:
Introduction to the Un-Vented Course
Hot Water Systems and their Operating Principles
Design and Installation of Un-Vented Hot Water Storage Systems
Maintenance of Un-Vented Hot Water Storage Systems
Meeting the Requirements of the Building Regulations Part L1 – Conservation of Fuel and Power
Energy Efficiency Requirements of Un-Vented Systems
Sealed Central Heating Systems
